A Creative Retreat for the Soul

This is one of those days you'll be glad you showed up for.

Slow. Grounding. A little bit magical. You'll spend the day stitching, stuffing, laughing — and making something you didn't quite know you needed until it's sitting in your hands.

Poppet Dolls are small, soft-bodied spirit dolls you stuff with herbs, crystals, intentions, and whatever else feels right. They're sweet, symbolic, and genuinely fun to make. Each one comes out different — quirky, tender, bold — because each one holds a little piece of the woman who made her.

No sewing skills needed. No art experience required. Just curiosity and a willingness to play.

What Folks Are Saying…

“I spent the day with Stacy making a spirit doll. She helped me sew a doll stuffed with prayers I wrote into little bundles. The spirit doll turned out lovely, and I keep her by my bedside to remind me of the love I felt while making her.“
Joy Doyle MD

What’s a Poppet Doll?

A Poppet Doll is a small handmade spirit keeper. You tuck herbs, crystals, charms, scraps of paper, intentions — whatever feels meaningful — inside her body before you stitch her closed. She becomes a companion, a little talisman for whatever chapter you're in.

These dolls aren't about perfection. They're about making something that feels true.

More Stories About These Workshops…

“Thank you very much for your wisdom, artful spirit, and hospitality. I signed up for your class, hoping to spend a day using my hands and mind in ways that would challenge me to create something I had not experienced before. Your class offered me many options to choose from when considering my spirit doll, and with your encouragement and talent, it all came together — just as you anticipated. I was grateful to meet new like-minded people in your class and to put aside the outside world for a day.”

  • This workshop was just what I needed at just the right time. Stacy is a welcoming, warm teacher who guided us through the process. I enjoyed working on the dolls together and having her available to answer questions as they came up. I appreciate her encouragement not to force anything and trust that what comes up is what I should notice.
