Welcome To The Artful Crone:

The Artful Crone is a quiet, ongoing creative practice for women in their third act—where making is slow, symbolic, and free from pressure.

This is a space for women who want creativity to feel meaningful rather than performative. We work in simple, intuitive ways—without forcing or fixing—so insight can arise naturally. If you’re looking for art that feels more like medicine than a technique to learn, you’ll feel right at home here.

Each month, I share two creative offerings rooted in intuitive, symbolic making—one small and gentle, one with more room to explore.

You don’t need art training or prior experience. Think of The Artful Crone as a creative sanctuary you can return to again and again, where imagination and lived wisdom meet—one simple act of making at a time.

Here are a few of the soulful projects we've made inside the membership.
Each one carries its own bit of magic that emerges as you create.

A Bundle Doll—filled with herbs, intention and affirmations inside

Handmade felted wool intention vessels in earthy red and deep blue with stitched details, resting on a wooden surface beside a clear quartz crystal.

A simple wet-felted vessel—with a powerful intentional ritual

A paper mâché mask of the Spirit of Winter— a way to hear her vision for you

Hands coloring the face of a handmade soft doll using chalk pastels, with tea, candle, and creative tools nearby.

A Worry Doll—a gentle project to give yoru worries to

Small handmade art cards with stenciled patterns and simple messages, arranged on a table with a paintbrush.

February’s Offerings

February’s work inside The Artful Crone includes two simple creative invitations—one a little deeper, one intentionally tiny.

Notes to Self is the deeper offering this month. We’re working with small handmade cards—quiet pieces created slowly and without pressure. Rather than pushing for insight or meaning, the invitation is to do less. To keep the gestures small. To let making feel supportive rather than demanding.

I share how I worked with this project in my own life, not as a method to follow, but as a gentle nudge. An example of how creativity can meet us where we are, especially when energy feels scattered or low.

Alongside this, there’s also a tiny project for February.

Funky Folders is a short, simple invitation to clear a little space and make something useful and imperfect. It’s a quick collage folder—no planning, no overthinking. Just a small act of making that invites play and lets your hands move without expectation.

Both offerings are here to support slow, livable creativity. Nothing to complete. Nothing to perfect. Just simple ways to stay in relationship with your creative life.

Is The Artful Crone for you?

You don’t need to be “artsy.” You don’t need to know how to sew, sculpt, or draw.

What you do need is a desire to reconnect with a quieter part of yourself—one that listens, imagines, and makes meaning through simple acts.

The Artful Crone is for women who want creativity to feel companionable rather than instructional. For those who are done with keeping up and ready to create in a way that honors their energy, their season of life, and their lived wisdom.

These projects aren’t assignments. They’re invitations. You decide how deeply to engage, how long to linger, and when to return.

About the Sacred Studio Zoom Gatherings

We meet live on the third Sunday of each month, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern. These gatherings are not recorded—being together in real time is part of what gives them their depth.

These calls are not about completing projects. They’re a space to reflect on what the month’s offering has stirred, how it’s showing up in your life, and what it may be inviting next.

Sometimes this looks like open conversation. Other times, I guide a simple inner journey or reflective practice. You’re welcome to speak, or simply listen. There’s nothing to prepare and nothing to perform.

Whether you engage quietly on your own or join us for our monthly Sacred Studio gathering, The Artful Crone is designed to support creativity as a lived practice rather than a task to complete.

  • “Stacy’s work is both grounded and spiritual, both playful and powerful; and what could be better than that?!! I recently took one of her workshops, and though I pondered whether my artistic abilities could deliver anything of healing value, I was amazed at what was unveiled. Even beyond the workshop’s conclusion, as I continue to meditate on my works of ‘art,’ the revelations and a-ha’s continue. I remain deeply grateful for the many gifts Stacy has imparted on my journey.”

    — Joyce

  • “WOW! I always love working with Stacy. The way she works with and describes energy is like no one else I've ever met. Her instructions and visualizations are unique and very unusual and provide me so much depth and insight into my own body, my reactions, and the information I receive. Combining this with art is so cool because it lets my subconscious deliver wisdom. Last night's class did that in spades — and the layers of information and instruction kind of blew my mind. I'm so grateful!”

    — Angie

  • “Working with Stacy is like no other counseling or coaching I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve experienced everything imaginable in my 59 years. I am grateful beyond words for Stacy’s gentle way of blowing my heart, soul, and mind wide open to a whole new way of being in the world.”

Why It Matters

Creativity isn’t about perfection. It’s about returning to yourself.

Over time, slow, symbolic making becomes a way of listening—of turning experience into form, insight into story, and intuition into something you can hold in your hands.

Month by month, The Artful Crone offers a steady creative thread through your life. Some offerings will feel light and playful. Others may meet you in deeper places. All are designed to support a creative relationship that grows alongside you.

This is creativity as companionship. Creativity as witness. Creativity as a way home.
