A Simple Kind of Magic

You know that moment when you finish something small, something you made with your own hands, and suddenly you love it so much you can't wait to find it the perfect spot?

That's what happens in this workshop.

We're making Plant People—small stick and clay figures that live quietly among your plants. Not a big project. Not something you have to figure out. Just a few hours of slow making, and you end up with something that somehow feels like it knows you.

This isn’t about learning techniques or making something perfect. It’s about slowing down, following your hands, and letting something take shape.

No art experience needed. No pressure.

What Is a Plant Person?

A Plant Person is a little quiet presence. Part sculpture, part talisman, part something you made that somehow knows exactly how to be what you needed.

Some feel playful. Some feel like guardians. You don't have to decide. That part reveals itself.

They catch your eye and make you smile. They remind you that there's creative magic in everyday life—and that you're the one who put it there.

“This was an amazing class full of laughs, insight, freedom from rules, and an explosion of giving- energy, love, and acceptance. Our ideas and creativity were bursting at the seams. I needed that day so much! Thank you! I'll definitely be signing up for another class soon!”

You’ll Walk Away With

A small, handmade Plant Person and a quiet reminder that you're creative—and that magic lives in the things you make.

  • “The spirit doll workshop with Stacy was just what I needed to give myself a day of creativity and supportive company. She offered a clean, organized space and all the supplies so we could just show up. No artistic experience needed.”

    — Andrea

  • “Everyone in our group felt supported and left with something they loved.”

    —Anet

  • “I signed up hoping to spend a day creating something new. With your guidance, it all came together—just as you said it would. I was grateful to step away from the outside world for a day.”

What We’ll Do

This is a relaxed, guided experience with plenty of space to explore.

You'll choose your stick and a clay face, shape and attach your figure, wrap it with yarn and soft fibers, and add small details and textures.

There's time for tea, conversation, and quiet making. By the end, you'll have something that feels entirely your own.
