Small Figures.
Big Magic.
Spirit Doll Studio
A 6-week live online workshop where you’ll learn to make spirit dolls from start to finish—even if you’ve never done anything like this before.
You’ll build the structure, shape the face, and bring your doll together step by step. And somewhere in the middle of it, something shifts.
It stops being just something you’re making.
It starts to feel like something you’re meeting.
That’s the part people don’t expect. And it happens every time.

What Actually Happens When You Make One
I know. Some people hear the word doll and cringe a little. Think of them more as small, handmade figures that end up meaning more than you expected.
You start with simple materials—sticks, wire, cloth, and clay. There's technique involved. I'll teach you how to build the body, shape the face, and bring the whole thing together in a way that actually works.
But alongside that, something else begins happening. A personality shows up. A feeling. Sometimes, even a quiet sense of story.
The doll becomes more than a project. It becomes something you recognize.
That's when things come alive—and it happens every time. Over the weeks, your doll becomes a companion, a marker of something you've moved through.
And if you're wondering whether you're creative enough for this, this isn't about being good at art. It just has to be yours.
What you make here doesn't go in a drawer. It lives somewhere visible. And months from now, you'll still remember what it felt like to make her.

Is This For You?
This studio is for beginners and curious makers.
It’s a good fit if:
• You’ve been drawn to spirit dolls but don’t know how to make one
• You want clear, step-by-step guidance
• You’re interested in meaningful, intuitive, creative work
• You’ve taken a class with me before and want to go deeper
• You keep thinking you’ll make time for something creative… and haven’t yet
This is a real container. Real dates. A small group of women making alongside you. That’s what helps it actually happen.
You don’t need experience. You don’t need to call yourself an artist. Curiosity is enough.
How The Studio Works
We meet live each week on Zoom, Sundays at 11:00 - 1:30 Eastern.
I’ll teach, demonstrate, and guide you as you build your doll step by step. You’ll have time during class to work alongside me, try things out, ask questions, and get help as you go.
Sessions are relaxed and conversational. Between sessions, you can continue working at your own pace.
There’s something powerful about watching other women’s dolls take shape alongside your own. Everyone approaches it differently, and that’s part of what makes this work. The group is intentionally small, so there’s space for real interaction.
All sessions are recorded, so you can revisit them later.
Materials
You’ll receive a full materials list when you register.
The list includes materials for all the different doll-making approaches I’ll be showing you during the studio, so you’ll have options to explore.
You do not need to buy everything at once. You can start with a few basic materials, work with what you already have, or watch the lessons first and decide which methods you want to try.
Everything is simple and accessible. There’s no one right way to make these.
