A Little Doll. A Lot of Room to Play.

Bundle Dolls are wonderfully simple little beings.

We’ll start with a stick or two and a small face, then build the doll with clay, yarn, fabric, and whatever little treasures you want to add.

But the part I especially love happens inside.

Before we begin wrapping, you’ll create a tiny bundle for your doll to hold. You might tuck in a note with an intention or a wish, a crystal, an herb, a tiny trinket, or something that represents an idea you want to stay connected to.

Or maybe there’s something you’re ready to stop carrying around for a while. You can bundle that up too and let your doll hold it for you.

Then we wrap.

As the yarn goes around and around, you can work with a word, an intention, or a little mantra, almost weaving that idea right into the doll.

All in all, this workshop is part art project, part imaginative ritual, and maybe even a tiny bit of witchy-woo magic.

Let’s Talk About Faces

If you’re thinking this looks fun, but the idea of making a face scares you… I got you.

This workshop gives you options on the whole “face-thing.”

You can use a face you buy, no problem. In fact, I’ve got some “starter faces” you can get from me and then alter them as I show you in the class to make them yours.

But if you want to play with some super simple face-making, I’ll show you how to make a face from a mold and even try your hand at a really easy little face that I love to use on my bundle dolls.

So really. Don’t let the face-thing scare you. I’ll walk you through all the options in class so you can jump right in and create your doll.

What We’ll Do Together

I’ll take you step by step through the way I make my Bundle Dolls, from choosing your sticks and creating the head to altering a face, painting, wrapping the body, and adding all those odd little details that give these dolls so much character.

We’ll also explore what you might want your doll to hold and how you can bring a bit of intention into the wrapping itself.

I’ll show you options rather than one exact doll you have to reproduce, so you can follow the process and still end up with something that feels entirely your own.

You’ll work with simple materials like:

sticks • yarn • fabric • clay • beads • baubles • found treasures

And you’ll have plenty of room to improvise along the way.

The Bundle Doll Workshop includes 8 on-demand lessons, mostly step-by-step how-to videos where you can watch me make my own doll.

Watch everything first if you like, or pull up a chair and make yours right along with me.

You can begin whenever you’re ready and work at your own pace.

And you’ll have indefinite access, so you can come back whenever another Bundle Doll seems like a good idea.
