Pippa is a one-of-a-kind papier-mâché folk-art angel, sculpted, painted, and assembled by hand by Stacy Vajta. Her bright blue dress is decorated with yellow flowers and a heart, while reddish-purple yarn hair, rosy cheeks, and textured golden wings give her a cheerful presence. She’s ready for a home with room for a little wandering.
Brigade Role: Bringer of light and unexpected joy
Special Skills: Finding flowers worth stopping for; turning a short walk into a small adventure; letting one little delight lead to another
Known For: Insisting on skipping rather than flying
Official Assignment: Humans in need of a little more wonder and a few more flowers
Field Notes: Pippa loves wildflower meadows and the floral section of the grocery store. When she’s late for meetings, the Brigade always knows where to look. She occasionally needs reminding that she has wings and could simply fly, but she insists that skipping is more fun. She says that for humans, skipping can feel an awful lot like flying. Most of the crew agrees.
