Current Workshops
Each season, I offer a small collection of workshops for women drawn to soulful making, symbolic creativity, and the magic of their own imaginations. Some happen in my West Asheville, NC studio. Some happen live online, with time to make together. And some are digital, self-paced classes, so you can work at your own pace. All of them are rooted in spirit dolls, folk art, and the kind of making in which simple materials slowly become something personal, soulful, and completely your own.

Asheville Workshops
A full day of making together here in my West Asheville, NC studio — small groups, a delicious lunch, and time to slow all the way down.
The Stick Doll Workshop

A full day making a mixed-media stick doll together in the studio — sticks, clay, fabric, fibers, and found bits, built slowly with plenty of time to talk, comb through all my materials, and let your doll take shape. Lunch is included, and the day stays small on purpose: just four of us at the table.
Live Online Workshops
Live, guided Zoom workshops where we make together over several sessions. There’s real-time guidance, time for questions and support, and recordings are included so you can revisit the workshop anytime.

Self-Paced Digital Classes
Digital workshops you can begin anytime and move through at your own pace. Good if you want to make slowly, revisit the lessons, or fit the work into the pockets of your life.
The Tree Spirits Workshop

A playful, approachable way to make a small spirit figure from simple materials: sticks, fibers, clay, and whatever little bits you feel called to add. If you're new to this kind of making, this is a lovely place to begin.
The Bundle Doll Workshop
Self-paced digital workshop · $37
Start anytime
A quirky little spirit doll made from sticks, yarn, a small face, and favorite bits and baubles. Tuck a wish, intention, crystal, herb, or bit of magic inside, then wrap it all together and make it entirely your own. Step-by-step videos make this an easy introduction to spirit doll making.
