The Poppet Doll Retreat

The Poppet Doll Retreat

A Creative Weekend of Magic, Meaning & Making

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED.

You don’t need more doing.

You need space. Something slower. Something sacred.

This weekend isn’t just about rest—it’s about reconnection. It’s not just crafting—it’s meaning-making. Not just quiet—it’s clarity.

We’ll gather for two soulful afternoons to create something magical: a handmade spirit doll stitched with herbs, intention, and your own story.

Registration is $175—I’d be happy to offer a split payment option.
Everything you need is included. Come make something sacred—with your hands, your heart, and a few other wonderful women.

Why This Matters Right Now

The world is a lot right now. Our nervous systems are tired. Our spirits are stretched thin.

In times like these, giving yourself space to make something meaningful—to reconnect with your own magic—isn’t frivolous. It’s essential.

This retreat is a gentle rebellion against the noise and pressure. A way to come back to yourself. To sit in a small circle of women. To make. To breathe. To remember.

Because the most powerful thing you can do right now might be something slow, soulful, and made by hand.

What To Expect

Over two soulfully paced afternoons, you’ll create your own spirit doll—a quirky, magical talisman stitched with herbs, intention, and meaning. Along the way, you’ll rest, reflect, and rediscover the creative power that lives in your hands and your heart.

This is a space to breathe deeply. To laugh. To remember. And to make something with soul, just for you.

This little poppet is filled with magic, literally. Inside her are herbs, a secret note, and a special crystal.

Over the Weekend, You’ll…

Create with Intention
Design and stitch your own quirky, one-of-a-kind poppet doll—infused with herbs, charms, and meaning. No sewing or doll-making experience needed!

Connect with Spirit & Self
We’ll begin each day with grounding practices—guided meditation, reflection, and journaling—to help you settle, soften, and listen inward. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be invited to explore your stories, emotions, and intuition as they take shape through the art of making. Your doll becomes a vessel for this energy—holding what’s sacred, symbolic, or stirring in your heart.

Add a Little Magic
Choose from a selection of magical elements—herbs, crystals, charms, and intention-setting bits—to tuck inside your doll. This is spellwork disguised as play.

Slow Down & Savor the Making
This isn’t a race. We go slow. We laugh, reflect, and make with heart. It’s two gentle afternoons in a small group of women, creating something sacred together.

  • ‘Spending a day making a doll with Stacy was such a delight. Intentionally connecting to spirit and bringing that light through artwork… well, there is nothing sweeter. Especially when you are finished and see what you have created. I found the process relaxing and meditative. Stacy made it fun; she was aware when I needed help but otherwise, let me create the doll that was mine. And I am so very happy with my doll. She makes me smile.’

    — Darla

  • ’This workshop was just what I needed at just the right time. Stacy is a welcoming, warm teacher who guided us through the process. I enjoyed working on the dolls together and having her available to answer questions as they came up. I appreciate her encouragement not to force anything and just trust that what comes up is what I should notice. I discovered that I enjoy the artistic process when there is no expectation for how it will turn out. It was well worth my time.’

    — Audrey

  • ‘Stacy helped me sew a doll stuffed with prayers that I wrote into little bundles. I got to pick from her stash of crystals and herbs to put in my spirit doll. The spirit doll turned out lovely, and I keep her by my bedside to remind me of the love I felt during her creation.’

    — Joy

  • ‘This, for me, was a few things combined — art, creativity, meditation, journaling, and delving into thought-provoking areas for myself. I loved seeing my doll evolve and how she reflected back to me and vice versa.’

    — Mary

Meet Your Guide

I’m Stacy Vajta—artist, maker, and sacred mischief-maker. I believe creativity is a doorway to your inner wisdom—and that spiritual growth can be playful, not performative.

With a background in energy work and intuitive coaching, I’ve spent years guiding women through life’s transitions by helping them reconnect to their voice, their truth, and their own healing path. My workshops are as much about soul-searching as they are about making—and this retreat is no exception.

My quirky poppet dolls have become one of my favorite ways to explore healing, joy, and the magic of self-expression. I can’t wait to share this weekend of making, meaning, and gentle transformation with you
