The Magic of a Kitchen Witch

In old European kitchens, a witch on a broom was a welcome guest. She wasn’t feared—she was cherished. She kept bread from burning, soup from oversalting, and laughter in the air. She was a good witch. A lucky witch. A reminder that the everyday can be enchanted.

Now you can make one of your own.

Your Kitchen Witch will be born from wool, wire, and imagination—protective, quirky, and full of character. She’ll carry your intention and your story, ready with her broom to bring a spark of magic to your home.

A Workshop You Can Make Along With Me

This isn’t a “watch and figure it out later” kind of class. This is a true make-along.

I’ll take you step by step, showing you exactly how I create a Kitchen Witch from start to finish. You can pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea, and make right alongside me. Pause whenever you need to. Rewind if you miss something. Each video is clear and focused, guiding you gently through one step at a time.

By the end, you’ll have a Kitchen Witch that’s completely your own—complete with painted face, felted dress, big hair, and broom in hand.

From Wool to Witch: Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Learn how to needle felt—even if you’ve never tried before

  • Build a flexible wire base so your Kitchen Witch can pose and bend

  • Paint and attach a face full of character

  • Add clothes, hair, and a playful little broom

  • Discover the magic of creating gently, at your own pace

All you need is curiosity and a willingness to poke wool with a needle until something magical takes form.

Bonus: Live Zoom Jumpstart

Getting started can be the hardest part—I’ve got you.

On Wednesday, October 16, from 6–8 PM ET, we’ll gather on Zoom for a live, two-hour make-along. I’ll give you pointers on face-making, armature, and the basics of needle felting. Bring your questions and your materials, and make with me in real time.

Can’t make it live? No worries—the replay will be ready for you to watch anytime.

What You’ll Need

When you register, you’ll get a complete supply list covering wool, needles, wire, clay, and a few extras.

Worried about making a face? Don’t be. I’ll show you how to sculpt a simple one. But if you’d prefer to skip that step, I’m offering a special workshop-only add-on: a bundle of 3 handmade faces for $19 (U.S. only, shipping included).
