A Creative Retreat for the Soul

There’s something wonderful that happens when you step away from the noise of everyday life and let your hands follow your intuition.

In this full-day retreat, you’ll create a Spirit Doll—a soulful, one-of-a-kind object that holds your story, your energy, and the wisdom of who you are becoming.

This isn’t a typical craft class. It’s a day of creative play, soulful conversation, and deep listening—a chance to reconnect with your inner magic and make something truly meaningful.

No art skills needed. No perfection required. Just you, your intuition, and a table full of beautiful materials.

The Power of Making a Spirit Doll

Creating a healing doll is more than simply making a doll. It's a profound exploration of creativity and wisdom. As you bring your doll to life, you catalyze emotions, embolden your spirit, and playfully uncover the depths of who you are. The doll you create becomes a storyteller, embodying your ideas, beliefs, and energy — the essence of your evolving self.

Through your creative process, you become more whole. And, your finished doll becomes a touchstone… a guide… a reminder of your own resilience and creativity.

And the beautiful thing? Anyone can do this. No art skills required—just a willingness to listen within and follow where your hands and heart lead.

What’s a Spirit Doll?

A Spirit Doll is more than a piece of art.

It’s a handmade vessel that holds your energy, your intentions, and your evolving story. Part ritual, part creative expression, part sacred object—your doll becomes a companion and a reminder of who you are and what matters most.

You’ll craft yours from sticks, clay, fabric, fibers, and soulful bits—each piece woven with meaning and intuition. Some dolls are wild and playful. Some are simple and grounded. Each one is a reflection of the person who made her—and no two are ever alike.

What folks are saying about this experience…

“Spending a day making a doll with Stacy was such a delight. Intentionally connecting to spirit and bringing that light through artwork… there is nothing sweeter.”
Darla

“I spent the day with Stacy making a spirit doll. She helped me sew a doll stuffed with prayers I wrote into little bundles. The spirit doll turned out lovely, and I keep her by my bedside to remind me of the love I felt while making her.“
Joy Doyle MD

What to Expect

This is a retreat-style experience designed to nourish you creatively and soulfully.

  • A gentle opening circle to ground and set your intention

  • Guided steps to create your doll’s clay face (using a mold as a base, then shaping it into something uniquely yours)

  • Wrapping sticks, fabrics, fibers, and meaningful bits into a doll that holds your story

  • Adding beads, charms, stitching, and little treasures to embellish your doll

  • Time for tea, conversation, laughter, and a nourishing lunch

  • A closing ritual to meet the spirit of your doll and listen for the message she holds for you

This is not a step-by-step craft class where everyone makes the same thing. You’ll be guided and supported as you create the doll that’s ready to come through for you.

  • This workshop was just what I needed at just the right time. Stacy is a welcoming, warm teacher who guided us through the process. I enjoyed working on the dolls together and having her available to answer questions as they came up. I appreciate her encouragement not to force anything and trust that what comes up is what I should notice. I discovered that I enjoy the artistic process when there is no expectation for how it will turn out. It was well worth my time."

    — Audrey

  • “This, for me, was a few things combined- art, creativity, meditation, journaling, and delving into thought-provoking areas for myself. I loved seeing my doll evolve and how she reflected back to me and vice versa.”

    —Mary

  • "Spending a day making a doll with Stacy was such a delight. Intentionally connecting to Spirit and bringing that light through artwork. Well, there is nothing sweeter. Especially when you are finished and see what you have created. I found the process relaxing and meditative. Stacy made it fun, she was aware when I needed help but otherwise let me create the doll that was mine. I am so happy with my doll. She makes me smile."
